Hubitat, IFTTT, and Smart Life - Not triggering Smart Life device only during automation

I don't know where this issue is happening, so I'm checking on both the HE and Smart Life side to see how I can diagnose this.

I have a virtual switch in HE (Fan) that is connected to Smart Life (an IR blaster for said Fan) through IFTTT. When my automation triggers the fan, it is turned on successfully (HE -> IFTTTT -> Smart Life). Then when my automation triggers the fan to turn off, Hubitat sends the IFTTT command, but the Fan does not turn off through Smart Life.

I thought that this would for SURE be an issue with IFTTT/Smart Life, however, when I use the HE "on" and "off" buttons through the HE Device view the fan successfully turns On and Off. I can do this repeatedly with 100% success, so it's not intermittent. It only fails to turn off when "Off" is sent through automation.

The connection from HE to Smart Life is working when triggered manually ("physically")... but "Off" does NOT work when triggering through automation. I can verify in the logs that HE triggered "Off" and I can see in IFTTT the "Off" command received and triggered Smart Life, but no action on the Smart Life side.

It could totally be on the Smart Life side, but I don't know what would differentiate a "physical" press verses an "automation" press through IFTTT/Smart Life.

I created a separate "Off" automation on Smart Life thinking maybe my original one was wonky, but that didn't fix it either.

Any ideas on ways to diagnose where the breakdown is between HE and Smart Life?

Thanks!

So, I solved this in Smart Life by adding three consecutive "Off" events separated by 2 second pauses. After that, everything works as expected. Must be some timing issue with Smart Life.
