Hubitat C8 Inaccessible after changing router

This hub was connected to an Asus AP router since forever. Never any issues connecting to it via its IP address.
This AM I replaced this AP router with an Asus AIMesh node and connected to hub to it. The minute I turned on the router I could see the LED of the port to which the hub was connected light up. I could access this hub via my web browser and watch the boot process until about 20-25%. At some point during the boot the hub port LED on the router went off. I could not see any further boot progress via my browser however after a minute or so the Hubitat LED went from blue to green. All my devices worked as expected. It was apparent (Router port LED was off) I could no longer access the hub.

I have an identical C8 hub and plugged it into this router. No problem what so ever.
I took the problem hub to my main aiMesh router, plugged it in and rebooted. Everything was good and working as it should.
I replaced network cables, rebooted the router but I can not access the hub once I connect it to this aiMesh node.
I enabled wifi for this hub and it connected without issue. So everything works with wifi but not with ethernet. Why?

While it may appear this is a router/ethernet issue I cannot explain why it would disconnect this hub and not the other C8.

As long as you are connecting to your router through an Ethernet cable, your hub should automatically connect to the new router. However, it is likely to connect at a different IP address than the one used by the original router.

You need to find out the IP address the new router is using. There are several ways you can do this.

You can try connecting to the router using:

https://findmyhub.hubitat.com/

Unless your firewall is blocking connections, the hubitat.com server should be able to find all hubs connected to your router. The IP address of each should be listed.

If that fails, you can enter the MAC address of your hub into the "Advanced Discovery" section and that should find your hub.

One thing I like to do is use a LAN scanner to scan your entire LAN and list all devices currently connected either through Ethernet or WiFi. The free Windows program I like to use is called Advanced IP Scanner. If you use Mac O/S you will need to find a suitable option. For Windows open the following link and the download should proceed automatically.

You can also find IP scanners for Android and Apple portable devices.

Find the Mac address for your hub and note the corresponding IP address. Use that to connect to your hub.

But there is the problem. I am connected to the new router when I first power up the hub. The router port LED comes on. I can watch, via web browser, the hub boot process until it reached somewhere around 20-25% then the port LED shuts off. The hub is no longer connected to the aimesh node.

IP is assigned by the router. Even though I can not connect to the hub I can connect to the router and can see on the router network map the hub is up and running. It is connected using the manually assigned IP. This IP does me no good as the ethernet connection between hub and router is off. I am pretty sure this is not a HW issue as I can plug another C8 into the same port with the same cable and everything is fine. As well, I can plug the hub into the main router and there are no issues. To make things even more confusing, I can connect to the node via wifi and all is good. Baffled

Gain access to the hub from the primary router.
Go into the Network settings of your Hub, and change the Ethernet speed settings to Auto Negotiate, or if that is what is already set, try Fixed 10 Mbps.
