Hello everyone! newbie here trying to migrate from my old but still functional veraplus , i couldn’t find anything on weather if Rule machine for hubitat is still available, if it is please read on hopefully someone will be able to help me, i bought a second hand hubitat C7, soft reset it,deleted old logs ,registered and updated it to 250159, added a couple of door switches and lights and seams to work fine, now id like to know if hubitat can do this, in veraplus i have a routine in Pleg that measures water flow(Gallons per hr) using a zwave reed switch, one pulse=1g and returns true/false if exceeds or not a giving number which in turn runs a scene in veraplus to close or keep open a zwave valve , good old google say Rule machine may provide functionality similar to Pleg but for the life of me i cant seam to find it ,rule machine is not in apps nor is available for installation, so far ive tried via safari and chrome on mac and chrome in win11, i cleared filters in search box and nothing, google says is a built in app and that should be in there but i dont see it. i know veraplus is old tech but is so intuitive just pleg has a bit of a learning curve, if anyone can help with this I’d appreciate it. thx
Under Automations, pick add built in automation then rule machine. I would also install Hubitat Package Manager (Will put link at bottom) and install a good weather app. (Wunderground is very good and has a ton of attributes you can use in rules). Your Vera stuff is fine. When pairing z-wave devices, if you get a failed pairing STOP. Go to settings>>z-wave details and check for ghosts (there will be an entry but no description) and remove it. (You may have to hit the refresh button on that line) then factory reset the device and try again.
