I don’t know. I know that it knows there’s a difference BUT it may require the version numbers in X.Y.z format. I’ll probably leave it as-is for an iteration or two.. during the alpha test phase.
Official HACS docs say that when a repo does not use tags, it uses the first 7 chars of the latest commit as the version. However, I don’t know it’s refresh rate.
HPM updates everything every 20 mins. I’m pretty sure HACS is no where near that often. Maybe 24hrs?
Hi. This is exactly what I am looking for and would love to help test this out. Unfortunately, the HPM installation is failing. Here is the error message I get when I try to install it
HubConnect has no Beta at this time, the quick workaround is to comment out the check... (add // at the beginning of the line) like I've done here:
But put it back after, otherwise you won't ever be able to install someone else's Beta Bundle. 
How would I do that? I am not sure what your screenshot is showing.
