Hubconnect between Hubitat and Smarthings

Hoping someone can shed light on this...

I have had Hubconnect installed when i first dumped ST and migrated to Hubitat (C7).. I left 1 device on ST and I used Hubconnect (v2.0.98) to connect the 2.. This has worked fine for over a year and still continues to work.. I can fully access my ST device from my migrated C8 !!

The issue : on my C8> Apps>Hubconnect Server for Hubbitat>Smarthings Remote OFFLINE

So Smarthings Remote client is offline to my C8.

I expected this as ST doesn't handle groovy apps anymore.. but if thats the case, then how can I still connect and manipulate my ST device from my C8 ?

Im sure i'm missing a fundamental concept here....

The Groovy IDE shutdown has been slowly phased out. I believe you have a few more days for anything to work from the Groovy IDE. In the next few days though anything legacy should be completely turned off. You may want to look at Hubithings Replica if you need to keep the device working. That is 100% the new Smartthings Api and shouldn't have any issues.
