Trying to find where I used a particular Hub Variable. When I click on one of the orange ones it tells me where they are used. But the others aren’t orange and don’t show. Why are some orange and some aren’t? And is there some other way to find usage? Here’s a screen shot of my variable list.

Just to be more clear, if you can’t click on it(not orange) to see where it is used, it means it is not used anywhere.
Not correct. I can verify all of them are in use.
Mostly in user apps.
Are you sure they are hub variables and not local variables with the same name?
if not then you have a issue, because that is not how it supposed to work. On my hubs only the variables not used can’t be clicked to see where they are used.
Ok, it’s not going to show user apps. The settings page is really only going to show the variables usage in Button controller, or RM rules.
Not sure if possible to get the usage in user apps. Perhaps ask on the developer forum.
That is not going to show as in use because you didn't follow the instructions for registering them in your app code:
That being said, if you don't really care and were just wondering, it's totally up to you (but it's definitely a good practice for anything you share).
