Hub telling me to register again

My hub is telling me I need to register but when I click it I get a page stating "Hub is registered". Is there any way to fix this short of rebooting the hub?

I saw that once, rebooting should fix it, could you verify if your dashboard works using the cloud link?

No, the cloud dashboard does not work.

That's a little frustrating that I would need to reboot to fix this. luckily I have a home vpn set up for issues like this but not everyone has that.

EDIT: Of note, it looks like my house power went out today at one point and the UPS ran out so everything rebooted. The hub probably came up before internet was restored which means the hub will not retry to connect (to cloud, registration server, whatever) after it fails the first time.

Could you post the error in the dashboard page?

Sorry, I was looking at the dashboard from the left side menu, clicking to the cloud side, and then trying a dashboard link from there. I didn't realize this is just for looks and doesn't work. So I tested incorrectly. Nothing happens when clicking those buttons. Same issue after a reboot.

Going in to the apps list, dashboard, then clicking the cloud link there works after the reboot. But I did not test this before the reboot with the registration error.

This was what I wanted, if everything works you should be fine.

This is the response I got from support earlier today, after dealing with a separate issue I mentioned I "was" but no longer having this issue with showing the hub is not registered as well.

Support: "I am glad to hear that your problem was resolved. If the message to "register your hub" pops up again, please go to Settings, then "Hub Details" and then click "Update Time From Browser." Then go back to Settings and Reboot your hub. We have identified an issue with some internet providers blocking the time updates. Our engineers are investigating, but updating the time and rebooting the hub should make it go away, for now.

I had this same problem - two power outages this week, and both times when the power was restored, the hub said 'please register', but clicking on it said 'hub is already registered'. A reboot fixed it.

In my case the wifi/internet just hadn't come back up before the hub did... it would be great if it could just check again rather than having to reboot.

On a related note, my systemStart event also didn't run...

This begs the request that HE UI top header show the hub's reported time without jumping through menus to see the time.
