I am in the setup phase of my Hubitat. Light is green, I plugged it directly into my ATT BGW320 modem/router instead of the switch I have.
The app sent me to the portal, but it wouldn’t find the device without me looking for the Mac id. Once I clicked connect, it took me to the 198.168.1xxxxx address. But the screen won’t load.
I am not on the same LAN, because I don’t have a computer that even uses a cat cable. All I have are Wifi devices. Is that why it won’t load? Or some other issue?
That is not a problem, as long as the Wi-Fi device is connected to the same network segment as your hub (same subnet). Based on details provided, your Wi-Fi device may not see the hub as being on the same network. I would try using a different Wi-Fi device.
Also, if your issues persist, you may try resetting the hub's network settings by pushing the little button on the bottom of the hub with the point of a pen for 10 seconds.
