Wonder if there is a way to have HE detect that and then throw up a nag message at the phone app level. Or once home has the IP from find.hubitat.com the backend scans that ip to look for redirection and throw up a nag screen at the phone recommending why they shouldn't do that

Bah. You're no fun.
I say leave the guinea pigs exposed as honeypots, then if someone finds a way to breach the Hub we will know sooner, and Hubitat can fix it for the rest of us sooner.
Of course that sucks for the guinea pigs... But you can't make a cake without cracking some eggs.
