Well, I just ordered the Hubitat Elevation hub. It's on sale at Amazon for $100. I've been an ST user for 4 1/2 years now, but have been following the forums here for a while.
I can't wait to start!

Thanks for the notice! Looks like I'm ordering another one to replace a different system
Me too! Been with ST for a little over a year. I still love ST, but their major failure is "not cloudy" in my mind. I went as far as to research backup internet connections, a second cellphone line, a fallback connection on my asus router via dual wan. Also their downtimes and outages- and I'm OUT.
Soon as my hub comes I'm switching everything over and bye bye platform that never activated bluetooth, never activated "more local processing' and a few other empty promises.
And this for Samsung, who has no shortage of capital to purchase and turn to crap, something that had much potential.
The hub is also on sale on the Hubitat web site for 99,95$ currently 11 oct 2018! Collections – HUBITAT
I was thinking and searching information for more than a week. Order in process...
I currently use ST V2. Work really great but since this morning around 10am the app no longer open! They know the problem and will solve it in the futur https://status.smartthings.com
I need to enter my home. My presence sensor is my phone to disable the alarm! No ST, no presence sensor, alarm is Armed away, no way to change the mode. I will unplug the siren and hope the system will not come online during the night because all the light will start to blink!
Local processing is coming yououuuuu
I am planning on picking up an HE at the end of the month if they are still on sale. I have been using ST for 4 years, and most of the time it has been great, but when there are issues, oh boy is it "fun" to figure out.
Why not act now so you don't miss the opportunity for $50 off the normal price? Credit card companies will gladly lend you the money, and at no charge as long as you pay them back in less than a month.
How long is this $100 sale price good for? Anyone know?
You could ask @patrick, but I'm not certain that will be disclosed. Sales are a call to action
Well then I just answered the call. Hub is ordered
Just ordered one as well. A recent Wink outage just pushed me over the edge to give this a try - that and the extension options of Hubitat. Once you guys get Google Home integration I'll be ready to full commit
What kind of devices you have on wink? Quirky devices are not very reliable both on ST and Hubitat.
No Quirky devices specifically but some GoControl (motion sensor, door sensors, garage door), Schlage locks, Leviton switches, Lutron switches, a bunch of Nest stuff. Got a couple Aeotec devices laying around around that Wink didn't support so looking forwarded to testing those out.
I'm looking to try Hubitat out for the next couple months, we are doing a large reno in the new year and at that point I'll be getting more devices so figure that's a good time to make the jump.
