I seem to be having a recurring issue with my Hub. It restarts so often that it does not execute lighting automations and far more often than I would like, it is unresponsive when we need it.
I've pasted a copy of the last few days of System events below: 11 restarts today, 14 yesterday... Doesn't seem normal.
Anyone experienced a similar situation? I've tried disabling all Apps, Custom Drivers, and restoring previous backups. Nothing seems to make a difference.
What am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the warm welcome Sebastien! I've been lurking for a bit
I haven't in quite a while, Sharptools.io was the last I installed, but that was at least a few months back. I've had this problem on and off since September. I haven't posted as I can't seem to find a particular reason as to why it happens...
I consciously don't want to do what I think I need to: Remove everything and start adding things one by one until I identify the culprit.
I'm not saying it can't happen but I haven't seen any reports of an app/driver causing a reboot. Slowdowns and lockups yes, but a reboot no.
Assuming also that you are using the HE power supply. Multiple reboots just smells of a marginal power issue either connection or wattage. And if it's off an on since September it could be something as simple as it gets bumped/moved while dusting or something moving the connector just a enough.
My backup hub needed a different cable out of the box as anytime I'd move it it would reset.
Hopefully that helps, if not then definitely start a support ticket as they can remote in and look at logs we can't. They would have a better chance at pinpointing the root cause.
I wouldn't remove everything. Worst case, work backwards from the last things you did IF you can remember what order you did things.
But even easier, you might try disabling any apps. See the link to the documentation below, it shows how to disable things. It is not very easy to see on the hub, but there is a in the upper right corner of both devices, and apps, that allows you to selectively disable them.
When I bought my HE I had the same issue with reboots.
I replaced the power supply (took the one from my previous controller, Homey) and since then, I have not had any reboot issue.
Changed the USB cable last night, had 7 restarts so far today as of 8AM this morning. I just replaced the power supply, hoping to see fewer restarts when I check the logs later today. Will keep everyone posted.
Please try doing a soft reset from diagnostics tool at http://your.hubs.ip.address:8081/. I see some database errors in hub's logs, and while there's nothing to indicate whether they're a cause or an effect of these random reboots, a soft reset might be a potential easy fix. If it doesn't make a difference, power connector sounds like the most likely culprit.
Thanks @JasonJoel . Great advice in general for most devices that generate a lot of heat, particularly for folks living in small spaces. I have managed to convince my SO that while it may not look pretty, all devices need some space. So that's not a problem, but great advice none the less.
@gopher.ny Done more soft-resets than I can remember at this point, so unfortunately that doesn't seem to be it. Switched out the power supply with another, let's see what happens over the course of the day. I've also removed the Sharptools App as of this morning as well. If these two changed fix the issue I know where to focus.
Just for balanced reporting let me say that I have run a C5 in an unconditioned & dusty metal outbuilding for a year now. It has easily seen 15F to 105F and is still kicking. Mind you it's not dealing with more than 10 devices and a modest number of applications.
Dunno. All I know is all 3 of my dev hubs consistently lock up if they are sitting on anything other than the shelf. Even sitting on a BARELY luke warm switch will make them lock up randomly.
Maybe it is EMF and not heat, who knows? But they are happily sitting right next to the same witch now with no lockups in months.
But that doesn't sound like the OPs problem, so I guess it's OT for this thread.
Wanted to give everyone an update for posterity. After replacing the power supply yesterday morning at 8:15, I have experienced 0 restarts over the last 24 hrs...
A huge thank you to everyone who helped solve this confusing issue for me! Hopefully I'm not celebrating too early, but given the double-digit daily restarts, I consider going to nil as issue resolved.
