I cannot speak to RM stuff but to see if it would work with NR before installing you could install a Maker API instance and then do a direct call via your browser:
http://[your Hub IP address]/apps/api/[Maker API ID]/devices/[Your Switch ID]/on?access_token=[Your Access Token]
http://[your Hub IP address]/apps/api/[Maker API ID]/devices/[Your Switch ID]/off?access_token=[Your Access Token]
It would appear that its me that works intermittently, not HE! (well probably 50/50 in this case) id messed up the motion rule and so the reason the lights were not coming on, is because id told them not to!
Just been looking at node red.... rabbit hole here i come.... if only i can fid a pie to buy!
I wish this was more obvious. I spent a few days trying to troubleshoot this stuff, because my mesh randomly stopped working. Took a couple weeks to rebuild it all and test various methods to actually get the devices to even show up.
