Hub Mesh not working when hub secure is active

I have two hubs, one C7 and one C8 Pro.

Both hubs are on platform version 2.5.0.143

Both hubs are in the same /26 subnet

Both servers have SSL only enabled with a cert from my own PKI server.

Both hubs “see“ one another and give the “enable hub mesh“ message / tile on the dash.

When I enable HUB Mesh and enter the mesh token of the other hub (and vise versa) they both claim that the token is invalid and will not connect.

As soon as i disable “hub login security“ they connect. Enabeling it again, couses the “invalid token“ error again.

So far I have tried the “regenerate“ option to get new tokens on both hubs. Tried to factory reset one hub.

I’m at a loss how to fix this. Does anyone have a solution to this issue, or pont me to a debug screen to get this fixed?

What do your logs show?

Hub Mesh is not creating any logging

@support_team, could you share some light on this?

Checking…

Edit: I think the issue is related to the SSL only flag. This needs a fix.

Looks like this was just addressed in a beta firmware hot fix:

2.5.0.153 did not fully fix this for us. The C8 Pro can connect to the C7, but devices will not share.
The C7 still states invalid token when connecting to the C8 Pro.

Both hubs are on 2.5.0.153 and both hubs regenerated token, and both hubs are on HTTPS only.

Will check again.

Cheers.
Should you need HUB-ID’s, PM me.
