A hub that was meshed to my main hub went unmeshed after a power outage. Checked the IP address and it was not even close to the static IP I have assigned for this hub in Unifi. I power cycled the switch the unmeshed hub was connected to and it went back to it's normal IP and started working again. Any solutions for this?
Put all of your network equipment, and the Hubitat hub, on a UPS.
The issue is that the HE hub probably booted up faster than your router, and thus there was no DHCP server available on your home network until later. DHCP will time out eventually, resulting in the device using an auto assigned IP address in the 169.x.x.x range.
