Is there any way to see a timestamp for when a hub overload occurs?
Maybe I'm missing it...but logs just don't really show a red flag that I can recognize anyway.
Or an app that can help narrow things down to a cause? I'm not seeing an impact to rules ...at least I don't think so...but happens at least every other day.
In think the best thing to look at is what changed right before the high load started to occur. Things we might think shouldn't be impactful can be depending on how they are deployed.
As far as knowing when it happens i believe it is tracked under Hub Events tab in the logging area.
Unfortunately the tools we as users get are somewhat limited. It is basically app and device stats. But they dont describe the load in a given 5 min interval just how much cpu time a app/device uses overall. That isn't very help in understanding momentary load a driver may trigger on occasion. It can be helpful though just to see busy devices or apps though.
