Hub crash, Alexa?

I have most of my Leviton Plug-in dimmers migrated over from Wink, and just a couple of simple rules to turn them on and off at time of day. Yesterday, nothing turned on and neither my iPhone app or a browser could connect to the hub. I cycled power and the hub came back up.

The only thing I see in the log from yesterday that could be a red flag is:
2022-07-21 06:25:42.167 warnmethod getAlexaAccessToken of app Amazon Echo Skill ran for 10,690,425ms

Am I having a problem with the Alexa built-in app?

Hmmm. The access token errors can be the result of a loss of network connectivity. So can your inability to get to the hub's UI. But your rules should still have run since they are all local. I know leviton makes a wifi plug - I assume that is NOT the one you are using, but rather zwave or zigbee? If you are using wifi plugs, then a network connectivity issue is most definitely the likely problem and we can focus efforts there. If not, we'll need to dig a bit further.

These are the Z-Wave plug-in dimmers, and it worked fine for several days before this. I was unable to ping the hub's IP address on my network so it seemed to be pretty hosed. All I did to revive it was unplug it and plug it back in (standard IT procedure). I thought maybe the IP address had changed, but it was still the same after reboot. I'm changing the DHCP server in my router to lock that IP to the MAC address

That seems likely. Is the Amazon Echo Skill setup completely? Meaning, is it fully functional?

She seems to be working, I can ask her to turn individual devices on or off

Are there any errors in the log?

That one in my original post is the only unusual thing I see in the log, everything else is just lights on/ lights off etc. In the Location Events tab, there are several "severe hub CPU load detected" and in App Stats the Alexa skill is definitely the biggest consumer of time

The Alexa integration should not be the #1 consumer. I wonder if something is sending excessive events to Alexa? I had an issue once a while ago where I had a virtual temperature sensor that averaged a bunch of sensors and I accidentally included the average sensor in the list of sensors to average - so it basically was averaging all the time. And since that sensor was exposed via Alexa it drove the integration bonkers. Though in that case the error was different and the Alexa errrors clearly indicated excessive events. But ould you have something odd like that going on?

Can you post a screenshot of both the App Stats and Device Stats? Please go to the settings on both pages (near the top, to the right of Hub Uptime), and select all the options so we can have a better idea what is going on.

It sounds like you have a rouge device, maybe we can look at these stats and see what is going on.
