C7 hub using HSM with iris Keypad V2.
I recently attempted a migration that ultimately failed.
I went back to my original C7 hub but had various issues with zigbee and 5 zwave devices (3 keypads and 2 door locks). These devices were removed from the various rules then the keypads and door locks was excluded and reset. Hub was rebooted and then left for two days to allow all else to settle.
Then I checked for any updates and attached the 5 devices again along with trying to add them back to the HSM and Lock Code Manager.
I can no longer use the link on my iphone dashboard or the dashboard on my PC to arm or disarm. What happens is I click on the button to arm and a pop up asking for a pin; I enter the pin and receive a note "invalid pin".
Can anyone help with this?
I have 2 of those keypads and depending on firmware level, they can be a bear to pair correctly. They'll connect but not all clusters are properly initialized. Search for "centralitex driver" and see if that helps after you load the driver, the re-pair the keypad
Totally agree!! They work but are sometimes a major pain. I really wish someone made a good quality keypad that was zwave since that has a longer range.
You may think I'm crazy, but since you have a C7 you can use the Iris V1 keypad. I have one and it's the best keypad ever. A bit big but it's rock solid and going on 2 years with original batteries(6xAA). You can snag one on ebay for about 15.00 USD (usually incl. batteries) and a guy here wrote an incredible driver, @iris
