Hey all,

Today I noticed my HSM Water wasn't showing in the apps so I went in, went through the options and now it's showing, however on the same line as the HSM Monitor rather than as a bulleted item like the others

What happened to my previous Armed Water entry and can the display be updated?

Did you have a custom rule for water? Or were you using the built-in water alerts in the main HSM? If the latter, what you showed in your screenshot is what is the normal display.

@bravenel. This is something I also noticed before. The water alert status showing on same line with hsm status.

At the time I looked and checked again now. You can not select a moisture sensor for the custom alerts.

Will you consider adding the option there?

True, after tamper I had Water, now is not there.

What is shown above is the Water Armed state showing, not the alert status. If the water tripped, then it would show water alert, but only if the apps page is refreshed.

I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

I don't know what you're talking about either. Since you can't have a water based custom rule, it wouldn't show in the list of custom rules. This is not anything new or changed.

Sure, the only thing I noticed is HSM itself doesn't actualize the color/status until you actually enter to HSM the click back to apps. But thats fine.

Apologies for bad terminology. I see it as in the screenshot posted. I was simply asking if moisture sensors could possibly be added to the list to use under the custom alerts instead or also.

@bravenel I have set up a alert in the HSM for water but I cannot get it to trip? Is there something that I not doing? It is not turning the light off or on, also it's suppose to flash but no way to set home many times etc. but it may flash till yo9u reset the alert?

Hubitat Safety Monitor also supports monitoring smoke and carbon monoxide sensors

I would suggest that you test the water sensor, and simply look at the logs for it, or the device page for it, and be sure that it is working. Also, look at the logs for HSM.

@bravenel I look at the log for the device and it is changing dry to wet etc. I do not see the events for the HSM? I look at the logs bit do not see it? Is there somewhere else that I need to look? Thanks

Did you hit Done after setting up HSM?

@bravenel I did that. Thanks I just remove and readded HSM and got it to work sending me alerts and audio but I have a Lifx light and cannot get it to work? Can you tell me which lights work? Thanks. I using the Lifx group of groups device driver and have an device called office lights but they do not come on or off? I get the following error message?

2018-10-28 11:11:46.290:errorjava.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Command 'flash' is not supported by device. (waterHandler)

The error message speaks for itself. Evidently the driver you are using does not support flash.
