My old (conventional) security system would beep for 30 seconds before the delayed intrusion detection was set off. This served as a reminder for me to turn off the system when I got home.
I think it would be good to have a similar "warning" mode option. Currently we have a delayed option but no way to indicate when the system is in "delayed intrusion" mode.
I have it, but it comes from the keypad, do you have a keypad?
No, my intrusion detection is signaled by turning the lights on in my house and sending a push notification to my phone. I basically have my phone acting as the siren.
It would be nice to have the option to set the actions of the warning mode, similar to the actions of the intrusion alarm. For example, if I could set my kitchen light to flash during 'warning' mode as a signal that I need to turn off my HSM.
