My alarm just trigger because the mode are to night when we arrived home and the front door was open. But there is only one device that is monitored in home armed mode and it's a motion sensor. Not sure if this is just a new release thing as I have only just set up home-armed. @bravenel any ideas what might have caused it? Just happened so need to test and replicate it tomorrow.

I know I will dig into it tomorrow and gather some more information. Just wanted to know if there was any changes that may have caused it or if anyone else has seen it before I dig into something that is already fixed or known.
I just simulated it just now and did not get the alarm so could be a fluke or could be that house was armed away (where door is selected with a delay) then went to armed-home but didn't cancel the delay?
@bravenel looks like my hunch was correct
so if the HSM goes from armed away to armed home and the device is not within the armed home alerts it will still trigger the alarm from the armed away. so its not canceling the delay.
So, you are transitioning directly from armed-away to armed-home? Is there some reason that you can't disarm armed-away before arming home? Setting armed-home is not the same as disarming. Did you expect it to automatically disarm?
In this case yes, the only time it would happen is if we arrived home late so the mode goes from Away (armed-Away) to Night in that mode its armed-home.
Not sure, is there away to delay the armed home when going into the mode in HSM?
not exactly but i expected it to no longer monitor the contacts that are not in that mode, so there for cancel anything connected to it.

But it had already tripped an alert. It's the alert that is your issue, not the monitoring of the contacts.
i was hoping this would work but it stays disarmed.
my thought process was that there is no delay for disarm but there is for arm-home. So it would go to disarmed when the mode goes to night then 20 seconds later it would arm-home?
Perhaps use a simple rule to disarm it based on detecting the mode changing to Night, along with the delayed arming. Or maybe the rule could just cancel the alert.

I just removed night as trigger so night is disarmed, then a simple rule to set armed home when mode triggers to night with 2 second delay along with the delay built into HSM
