I have a few Zwave locks. I would like to be able to unlock them through HE (via the Device Page and/or the Dashboard). I assume there has to be a PIN associated with the lock device in order for it to unlock successfully. I could be wrong, but it seems logical. If so, where do you key in the PIN for HE to use? If not, how do you set up the lock device so that it will unlock when pressing the "Unlock" button on the Device Page?
Thanks in advance.
If you just put the lock on the Dashboard using the "lock" tile template, you don't need a PIN--you'll just get a popup to confirm the action (presumably to avoid accidental taps. However, you can set a PIN on the entire dashboard itself, required before loading it. (Or in other words, your assumptions not exactly correct.

However, you could probably make this work by using a variable connector tile, then using a rule triggered by a change of that variable to unlock your door (and reset the variable for re-entry later). I feel like someone has tried this before, but I'm unable to find posts on this exact subject--just ones that are somewhat similar but probably close enough to be confusing since the goals are different (adding/removing actual lock codes).
The above is all aimed at Hubitat Dashboard, by the way. Third-party Dashboards may have built-in means to "protect" specific tiles like this. The Hubitat admin UI (device page) does not and likely never will--you can just run any command there at will, including "Lock" or "Unlock" (but you can password-protect your admin UI if that is a concern, and it is only accessible from home or, if you subscribed, via your Hubitat cloud account remotely).

Disregard this. The lock itself was malfunctioning. It's fixed now. Sorry for the bother.
