How to turn off "use setting per mode" in Motion Light app?

I had created a motion lighting app, and then enabled the slider for "use settings per mode". How do I turn it back off? It seems, once enabled, I am stuck in that mode. Only way I could find is to have to create an all new Motion app, and then to painstakingly recreate each configuration setting all over again.

Turn off per-mode setting?

The ability to use the apps without modes at all was added long after the app had been introduced -- hence it's a bit of a bolt-on, and as you might guess, the reason you can't go back is that the app isn't written in such a way as to accommodate it. I'll take another look at it, as perhaps this could be fixed. In the meantime, one does need to remove the instance and start over.
