How to safely revert from ZWaveJS to Legacy

I am running on a C-8 Pro, platform version 2.4.3.149.

I upgraded to ZWaveJS several days ago and at first things were going well, but now I am having a lot of problems with 2 Zen30 double-switches. There are long delays between when I push the up or down paddle and when the associated rule-machine rules run. The delays are frequently as long as 5-6 seconds.

I've looked at the z-wave logs and I see messages that say, "DRIVER one or more queues busy". Eventually I see the message "DRIVER all queues idle".

One ZEN30 is running firmware version 1.11 and the other is on firmware version 2.11. These are the latest firmware versions for hardware versions 1 & 2 respectively. I am using @jtp10181's "Zooz Zen30 Double Switch" driver version 2.0.2 dated 2023-12-10.

I would like to revert to the legacy driver to see if that solves the problem. I see that on the z-wave settings page there is a "Switch to legacy z-wave" button, Can I use this to revert back without restoring any backups?

I did make a cloud backup before I did the upgrade, but I've revised some rules since then, so restoring that cloud backup is problematic.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is a link to the z-wave log from hitting button 1, waiting until things settled down and then hitting button 2.

Thank you,

Marc

Yes, should not be a problem. Do not restore a backup.

Thank you -- that worked and now my switches are behaving normally!

Not sure if the problem is specific to the older Zen30's, or if it's simply the case that ZWaveJS isn't ready for prime time on the Hubitat platform, but either way, I'll stick to the legacy stack for now and try again in a couple of months.
