How to make tilt sensor show status on switch

I was wondering if there is a way to show status of a tilt sensor on switch in dashboard.

I just want to show if the garage door is open or closed on the switch. The switch is really dumb, it just activates the garage door.

I think you could use tile master for that? Maybe give it a try
