How to have a Zen32 LED flash when in use, and solid when off

I'm not even sure if this is possible, but....

I have a Hot Water Recirculation Pump that I turn on with a button when I'm running the Dishwasher. It turns itself off after 180 minutes, and all is well. I also have it set to turn LED #4 on my Zen32 Scene Controller RED when the pump is running, and then change it to white when it's off. All of that is working just fine.

Now I want to get a bit more fancy, and make the LED FLASH RED, when the recirculation pump is on, and then return to solid white when it's off. It seems that I can make it flash from the driver, but not from an app. If I make it flash from the driver, it's not selective, IOW it flashes until the status changes then it goes solid, and I can't get it to go back to flashing without going back into the driver. Is there another parameter that I could be using to make it flash red?

I think I've gone into paralysis of analysis on this, I just can't seem to wrap the brain around it tonight. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate any ideas.

Thanks

Dan

You can use custom commands from Rule Machine to call that command function that is in the community driver. It was designed that way on purpose. Rule 5.1 | Hubitat Documentation

Can be a little tricky to get the parameters in there just right so let us know if you cannot get it to work. Check logs for errors.
