I've updated to 2.4.0.148 and run the same test with 3 rules as before (How to explain these delays? - #18 by mattias). Calling another rule and the return to the original rule now appears to run as quickly as it did in 2.3.9.200:
However, setting the private boolean of another rule is still slow. My test scenario still takes 4.5 seconds to run on 2.4.0.148 when it takes only 300-350ms on 2.3.9.200. @bravenel - Is the private boolean delay something you've already got on the radar to have a look at?
