How does this (Z-Wave Routing) work?

These 2 devices are routed through each other. There are 8 devices routed through the range extender and everything works. It looks like it would be circular.

They're just routing through each other to reach the hub. I've seen this on mine a few times.

I'm sure you're thinking "If the hub (01) is connecting to 53 via 09 and connected to 09 via 53 - why don't they just connect directly to the hub - it doesn't make sense". Z Wave routing never seems to make any sense....

Wait until you see one that bounces through 3 switches...all within 3 feet of each other...and all 3 are being used as repeaters for the other 3...and each is a first hop...but no direct routing.

When it comes to Z-Wave, as long as things are all working I follow the advice of the Wise and Wonderful Wizard of Oz:

"Do not look at the man behind the curtain!!"

I've seen that with 3 switches in the same gang box! Always baffles me.

There's also the possibility that it is an SDK reporting glitch as I encountered recently ...
