I know there are many Hubitaters in FL, including the panhandle. Hope all of you are safe and not affected too badly by Hurricane Ian.
And that everyone in SC, where it seems to be headed, stays safe.

It was a long day in the Tampa Bay area but nothing compared to those in Ft Meyers Beach. Last I saw Florida was already at 9 lost souls.
Glad your family and you are safe. I used to have family in the Lehigh Acres/Ft. Myers area. Feel very badly for everyone there, particularly those who have lost loved ones. Having been through two major storms (Katrina, Ida) - there's a long tedious rebuilding phase ahead for everyone.
We were sweating it for awhile for our condos 50 yds from ocean in treasure island but the.power never even went out there.
Our friends in ft myer though dounfs like there house isvyotaled. Water up to second floor. Bummer.
We never lost power either. It was out all around us though.
Wife's parents have a place about six miles from the coast. Fortunately, they were not there. We have no way to find out if it is OK. Seems pretty close to ground zero but still hopeful. Phones are out and can't call anyone. No response yet to inquiries on social media.
