Honeywell security panel with z-wave - cannot see arm/disarm events

Hello, I’m mew to Hubitat (and to home automation). My house has a Honeywell security panel that was installed by a local alarm company. They still monitor thru cell connection, and I can control z-wave door locks through the Total Connect 2.0 app (Resideo). After following the directions in an old z-wave thread, I excluded all my door locks and added them to the C8. Then, I put the security panel in Learn mode and the C8 in inclusion, which successfully added the security panel as secondary controller… sort of.

In the security panel, it shows itself as primary and Hubitat as secondary. However, all the devices did copy successfully from Hubitat, even a z-wave T6 Pro thermostat. So even though it says primary, it seems to be acting as secondary. On the Hubitat side, the Honeywell security panel comes up simply as “Device” type. There are weird options like status and update “zigbee firmware” but no commands to arm/disarm or triggers from arm/disarm. I also cannot see scenes that were created in the panel. (As a side note, TC2.0 can connect to IFTTT where it does show arm/disarm and scenes; it also connects to Alexa so I can run scenes from the panel just like I can run Hubitat scenes).

Any idea what driver to use or what z-wave commands I can issue in Hubitat to arm/disarm? And to get arm/disarm triggers?

Not even sure how to get the panel’s model unless I figure out how to open it first…

Thanks!
