Did you figure out if it is possible to integrate the Lyric controller with Hubitat? As a HomeKit user I really like this system. I wish that I could pass the motion and contact sensors into Hubitat as well as arming and disarming the system. I run everything that I can in Hubitat including my HomeKit compatible devices and then connect them to HomeKit for control in the Apple Home app. This allows me to use the power of Hubitat automation. I have. Z-wave lock connected to Hubitat and it passes through to Apple Home. I have a HomeKit automation rule set to disarm the alarm when the door is unlocked. I would like to do all of this in Hubitat however.
