HomeSettings HA14C Dimmer

I am transitioning from a VeraPlus to a C8. I still have a few Intermatic HomeSettings HA14C dimmer switches that are working fine. I've included two into the C8 but there appears to be a problem. There's no On, Off, or dim function and no state information. In other words, there's nothing to control. The controller typ is ZWV. Data:

• deviceId: 20
• deviceType: 18497
• inClusters: 0x26,0x27,0x73,0x85,0x86,0x72
• manufacturer: 5
• zwNodeInfo: 8C 00 04 11 01 26 27 73 85 5C 86 72 68 23

Any tips on what I can do other than replace them? Hubitat should be backward compatible with these first generation dimmers. Thanks.

What's the Type (driver) in use?

On the Device Info page for the device, around the middle is an area like this:

note the Type field on the right. What's yours show? If "Device" then it means the Hub could find no matching driver. You'd have to manually select the correct one. It's possible those are old enough that they are only ZWave, not ZWave Plus. They will be some amount of problem for you if true. How much? Well that's for you to balance.

Whenever you change a Driver, click Config on the Driver Info page. It causes the driver to send "expected values" to the device so that the Driver and the device are in agreement.

Thank you csteele! It was just listed as "Device". Once I changed it to Generic Z-wave dimmer, it worked fine. I'm still learning Hubitat and didn't know about this issue. I really appreciate your help.

Just a note, when ever you change a driver, click configure. This will configure all capabilities available from the driver to the switch.
