Homeseer HSM200 as a 'snitch' light

In my multi-story house, We enter downstairs and live upstairs.

I want the HSM multisensor to show certain conditions of front entry door with different color lights. I wrote the rules, but I wonder if I should try a different driver for the Front Door Lock Device. Its a Balwin, but coded as a Schlage (probably same company). Lock is slow to activate and slow to show locked/unlocked condition update.

The device configuration for the HSM is custom from a Hubitat contributer.

Front Door lock LOCKED-multisensor light turns green (this works most times)

Front Door lock UNLOCKED-multisensor light turns orange (this worked once, maybe, so i switched that 'enable on/off optimization but don't know what it means really-and it still doesn't work)

Front Door Sensor OPEN-multisensor light turns red. (this rule always works and shows the red light, so I know the app/rules are working)

Since people always ask, here's a shot of my z-wave setting page:

Please advise what steps I can try to fix my snitch light! Thanks.

It only seems to.work with certain colors ie not true rgb. Maybe orange is not one of them? Try pink purple blue etc.

Have you looked at the logs to see if you can determine where your automation breaks down? Keep a separate tab of logging open and test the different scenarios.

Something else you could do is to replace the action with a more 'known' action, for example, turning on a light that is known to reliably work in HE and is easily seen. That might help separating the trigger from the action. Get the trigger set right, then work on the action.
