Is there a link to docs somewhere on the home page? If so, I couldn’t find it. If not, there should be!
In fact, all your docs / website layout is needlessly tricky.
- No Docs link anywhere, as far as I can tell
- Community - no home button to bet back to … Home!
- Support - a sub bullet on the community page but not on the home page
- Tutorials - great. How about a link to docs there!
Since I suspect you guys are busy building cool Habitat code and feel that this website stuff is just a boring annoyance, here’s a v1 pass at easy changes that would take no time:
- Home Page
- Remove “tutorials & Community”
- Add a “Help” home page
- Help Home Page
- This jump off page to Tutorials, Community, Support (Which is probably just the email address), and docs
- Community page
- The Habitat logo brings you back to the MAIN hubitat page
- Docs
- The Habitat logo brings you back to the MAIN hubitat page
- Developer Documentation
- While I’m at it, how about having an “example app”? Show one of your biggest most complicated that shows hits multiple aspects of the API, since your API docs are so thin. (Or have two - a simple one and a complex one -you’ve already written the apps, just post them!)
