Looks like just an app to control wi-fi devices. Wow, what a concept! This will die a long slow death. lol
Blue tooth and wifi device support looks like.. but I believe you are right in that it looks to only be an app.

Huh, well, this is actually a pretty darn slick move buy HD - proving an ecosystem (I use that term very loosely here lol) for the various smart products they sell will almost certainly boost sales and adoption for them among the totally-new-to-smart-home crowd.
It's a shrewd move, I'll give 'em that!
