As of today I am using HADB for bringing in bunch of devices to HE which otherwise are not directly compatible with HE. Thanks to this integration (@ymerj) I was able to get rid of many "very welcomed" cloud-based integrations and switch to 100% local control.
But it looks like as we speak HA can act as a Matter Bridge for all already supported devices. Another words, HADB may not be needed anymore.
Did anybody tried this already?
If "yes" how it works and compares to HADB?
Options please?
In my opinion, the direct integrations using platform-specific protocols will always be better than integrations via Matter Bridges.
The standards are a great thing, but at the same time, they imply limitations. The device types and functionalities standardized in the Matter protocol are just a subset of all the possible (and available!) functionalities a smart device can have.

Thank you!
Yours expert opinion is very valuable.
I will continue with HADB. So far it works very well and I did not have any single problem.
@ymerj Thank you very much for the HADB.
