Remember the old WWII movies where the sea captain turned on the red lights?

Use dimming red filters on nightlights --even a bright red light can decay night vision's rhodopsin. Rhodopsin takes about 30 minutes to 'recharge' so a bright nightlight en route may mean a return trip with very poor vision in the dark.

They’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. While I can see the benefits of living in a large city, I’m 100% certain that they would receive a lot more personalized care as their symptoms progress where I live.

Primarily because I’ve extensive connections with medical providers in New Orleans, including neurologists and neurosurgeons.

Of course, it isn’t practical for someone to pick up and move.
