Is there any way to control a matter device that is setup in Apple Home with Hubitat? I have a Shelley 1 mini Gen 4 that is currently setup and working with Apple Home app but I would like to control it with a double tap on one on my zwave light switches. Is there any hope?
Matter devices can have multiple "hubs" so in theory you could join the device to Hubitat in addition to the Apple hub, and then write rules or an app to provide the action(s) requested of the device.
I tried to scan the code with the mobile app and connect the device but it would not work. I may have to reset the device to make this work but then I may lose it in Apple Home. Any suggestions?
I'd try bringing the device up in Apple Home, go to Settings and
select Turn on Pairing Mode and then pair from there.

I tried turning on pairing mode, scanned the code, no luck. Copied and pasted the code, but neither worked. I could not connect to the device. I might try removing from Apple Home and resetting the device and then bringing into Hubitat. I really didn't want to remove it from the switch box, but it is not a big deal.
I quit using my iphone to try to pair the device and used the web GUI on safari. I put in the code and it paired the first time. I really think this matter thing is going somewhere. I really like this device and the fact that I can use Apple Home and Hubitat natively to control it. Thanks for your help.
