Help with installing Ikea water leak sensors

Hi there
I have Hubitat Elevation® Model C-8 Pro US Version.
I bought Ikea Badring Water Lean Sensors.
BADRING water leak sensor, smart - IKEA CA
I am having some issue installing them.
Looks like drivers are partially installed.

Any help i would appreciate
Thanks

They paired as a plain "Device" - that happens if (for whatever reason) Hubitat doesn't get enough info about them during pairing process to select a more specific driver.

You can try changing the driver Type to something like the native/stock "Generic Zigbee Moisture Sensor" driver, or you can search the commuity here for community-developed IKEA device drivers.

Here's the thread on IKEA Devices.

The easiest method to install custom drivers and keep them up to date is with HPM.

Or, you can also do this:
Manual Import/Save.

  1. Right click on this Raw Badring Driver Link, select Copy Link Address.
  2. In the Hubitat GUI click on Add Driver
Add Driver

  1. Click on Import
Import

3a. Paste the copied address link in the input field, click Import button.

  1. Click on Save
Save

Refresh the Badring Sensor Device Info page.
Select your new IKEA Badring Water Leakage Sensor (E2202) Type (aka driver).

Edit: Updated Raw link.

This is a link for driver.

Thank you

I tried those generic but stil partially.
No battery status...etc.

Codeberg might be cloudflaring you. Try going directly.

Edit: If you can get there.
Just do a Ctrl + A, Ctrl + C to copy the code.
And a Ctrl + V to paste it into the blank driver page.

Did you hit run the Configure command (in the device's "Commands" tab page) after switching to the native driver?

With battery devices, you almost always have to wake them up to accept configuration changes (such as running the Configure command) -- the wake-up sequence should be documented in the instructions that came with the device. Unless they're woken up, they aren't otherwise "listening" for updates.

You mean copy and past?

Sure, that should work.

Yes i did. It did not work

Here's another Raw Link for the driver that may work better.

I was able to install that driver.
It works fine now.
Thank you guys for your help.
I really appreciate that
