Help with Basic Rule Turns Off and Stays Off

Hey there. So I’m running into an issue setting up a basic rule and I think it’s user error and I’m just not understanding something.

Goal: When my living room light turns off and stays off for more than 10 minutes my kitchen lights and a few other things turn off. Unless the living room light is turned back on before those 10 minutes. Then don’t turn off the kitchen lights etc.

Issue: With this setup. After 10 minutes regardless of if I turned back on the living room light switch the action still happens.

What am I doing wrong? What is the key piece I’m missing?

The logs would likely hold some clues... I'm not a Basic Rules user though, so I'm not familiar with its logging options.

You say if you turn the light on it still turns things off. Your switch you are testing is the living room fan. For the turn off to reset the fan would need to turn back on.
