Help with a rule

I really want to try to use Rule machine for my simple automations. Struggling a bit with some of the logic. Would anyone be willing to provide some help

Here is what I want to accomplish
In my office, one motion sensor, two lights. I also have a weather device for illuminance

So if there is motion and the lights is below 50 then turn on the lights
When there the motion stops turn off the lights.
But if either of the lights were already on, then dont do anything at all.

I feel like this should be pretty simple, but I just cant seem to wrap my head around it.

You should be able to do what you want with the Motion Llighting app

On with motion yes
Off with no motion yes
Usinging illuminance yes

Ignoring the app if any of the lights are already on?? Could not figure out.

So if on with motion, off without motion, how would the lights be already on? The app has the ability to define a button for disable off. Would you be using a button to turn them on manually?

Most of the time I just walk in and out of the room and the lights do what I’d want. But if I’m sitting in the room the lights go off and on as you’d expect. But if I just use my Echo or the switch manually to turn one or both the lights they stay in until i turn them off

OK. So I’m assuming “switch” is a smart switch of some type. You can have the smart switch (integrated with Hubitat) as the trigger for Alexa to activate the lights and define that switch in Motion Lighting under “Options for Additional Sensors, Lights-Off and Off options” as the “Switch to disable turning off”.

@ptdalen you could set your office up as a say office zone and use the Zone Motion controller app that MIke Maxwell put together. I have two zone set up one in my basement and office. The one that I use in the basement has four motion detector and if there is motion on any of the motion detector the light stays on but after 2 minutes of no activity or however long you set it up for it goes off. I recommend the Zone Motion Controllers app for what you need.
