Help understanding log with Minoston MR40Z

I recently added a Minoston MR40Z that I have installed at as Generic zwave plus button controller. I noticed the other day that my zwave repeater was blinking every 5-10 seconds non stop and looked at the log to see this.

Looks like it is saying its battery level over and over again, i'm not sure if its something i'm doing or if its doing it on its own, but if I go press a button it will stop for a while.

Did you ever get it working? There's a custom driver available for this device, but I haven't had any luck with that either. My logs are full of errors.

I tried the custom driver first, it did not work. The generic driver works good enough, just the weird log issue. I wish there was more data about what is happening in the logs, I could not find enough info to know if it was my hub doing the talking, or the device. My solution was to put a piece of electrical tape over the flashing light on my zwave repeater so I could not see it blinking anymore.

Strange issue, wish I could offer some insight but I’m as clueless as you.

However, I found a thread pertaining to the error thrown by the custom driver, and supposedly there’s a fix coming.
