I have a pet that is chipped and I can see if he's present or not in my hub apps (it's a smart pet door that reads it). I cannot figure out how I can ask alexa if my pet is home or not though. In my devices, he shows up as a presence sensor. Any ideas how I can do this?
You would have to create a Alexa routine Something like "Alexa is my pet home. The Alexa routine would turn on a virtual switch which would in turn trigger a RM rule that would send a message however you want it sent, based on the status of the presence sensor.
