I have recently migrated from a C4 hub to C8 Pro and a number of my Z-Wave plugs that were working fine on the C4 are unable to be paired to the C8. They have been excluded from the C4, but nothing happens on the C8 Pro.
I have 12 plugs (mix of TZ68e and TZ88e) that won't pair, and 11 that work as expected and paired with no problem.
I have tried to exclude again and reset many times, but to no avail.
Does anyone have any tips on these?
Sometimes I have had to factory reset a device even though it was excluded, to get it to rejoin. In fact, now I don't bother to exclude at all, I just reset the devices.
So you could try that. I am not familiar with TZ68e or TX88e specifically, but maybe someone who is more familiar with those devices can chime in if resetting the devices doesn't help.
Google says this is the reset procedure:
"quickly press the On/Off button three times (within 2 seconds), then immediately press and hold the same button for 5 seconds until the LED turns off"
Thanks for replying, I have tried the reset procedure many times on the batch of devices I can't seem to get them to pair.
