Tonight I went to setup my smoke/CO detector and my water leak detector on Hubitat. Both devices installed without issue and had drivers already built into the system.
I learned that I need to use the Hubitat safety monitor with these devices. The problem I'm having is that I am unable to receive any push notifications from the devices in HSM. I've set up the text alerts for my phone, but do not receive anything. The regular notifications app sends alerts to my phone just fine with other devices, but HSM doesn't send anything.
I tested this by manually setting off my leak sensor. HSM shows an alert on the page, so I know it's detecting correctly, but no alert arrives on my phone.
What's really odd is that I can set up an alert in the normal notifications app for my leak sensor, and that sends push notifications to my phone just fine when. It's only from HSM I don't receive anything. I would be fine with using the normal notifications app but there is no way to set up notifications for my smoke/CO detector within that. Notifications for that can only be set up within HSM.
