Help getting first device to operate properly.... Step 101...Ring Device Contact Sensor using Hubitat

Okay, I have watched the videos. I just want to get one device setup properly as my frustration level is pretty high at the moment.

Currently, I have ring Gen 2 operating on my phone using Ring App and it works fine.

I used Hubitat Package Manager and installed the Hubitat Ring Integration (Unofficial).
Then I added a few devices (some say disabled but I am not going to worry about that now).
I just want to get one contact sensor to be activated using HSM and trigger the Ring Alarm siren if tripped. Also, beep for 45 seconds during the delay period.
On my dashboard I can see the HSM is armed away but nothing happens (no noise), no trigger when I open the contact sensor, just silence.

I have no doubt that I have skipped a few steps inadvertently.

How can I give you the info to help diagnose the problem?

You should turn on all logging in your rules to see what happens. That should help identify the culprit. Feel free to post the rule and the screenshot of the logs here if you would like us to try to help. It can certainly be frustrating when something doesn’t work right…. Been there more than a few times myself!

Do you need the ring alarm for something. If not why not pair the sensor and keypad direct to hubitat?
