Heating system controller

I woul d like to use hubduino to control my in floor hot water heat. My theory so far is to have temp sensors that monitor the various water and air temps, have the arduino sketch figure out what the water temp needs to be a then use a virtual thermostat to make everything work. I would need or want to be able to send variable info to the hubduino that will be changed by user and affect the various things that need to be kept ta=rack of

You could use a sinope thermostat for this. They make several that work with water heated floors.

What's controlling the system right now. We have a second home with infloor water heating and it was using just a regular thermostat to control the heat and zone 24VAC valve. With this, I replaced it with a Nest.

The system is a run by an outdoor reset controller. It monitors the outside temp, and adjusts the water temp accordingly as well as controlling the pump and opening and closing a valve to keep the water at the temp it has calculated. I want to integrate this with HE. there are all sorts of fail safeties outside of the controller to keep the boiler from becoming a problem. I have wanted to do this for some time, but today I got home from lunch and the controller I think has gone belly up, at least the house is cold and it isn't calling to heat the water. Replacements are several hundred dollars and the technology isn't any different than what is failing now.
