I've been trying for a week now to update my HE. Says it's available but it is stuck on "checking for updates". Never had this problem before.
Is the server changed?
Even tried the portal for updating and get this error......

Try rebooting your hub, then checking for updates
After trying to update through the portal, I can no longer connect to my hub. "Connection refused"
I can ping it, but that is it. I pulled power. No help.
Right now it is unresponsive. Will not allow connection via LAN.
What to do now?
