HE lost connection/not replying to Hue Motion Sensor

Hi, I have 2 hue motion sensors and they both paired fine initially with my HE and everything worked fine for about a day.

Then, usually after extended inactivity (e.g. overnight), both sensors will flash the red LED when motion is detected. I believe this indicates it has lost connection to the HE hub. The motion status in HE is stuck at 'active' and nothing is being updated when 'configure' function is requested.

When this happened the first time, I reset both sensors and re-pair it with my HE. They both function as they should for a day before losing connection again. (I have also tried replacing battery, so this is not the problem)

Anyone have similar problem and know any solution? I am using the HE provided hue motion sensor driver.

Repeaters..., ie a lack of, or bad ones...

That can't be it... one of the motion sensor is right next to my HE, literally 10cm away

Ok, some other mesh issue then.
I have 4 of these in production, none of them have headed for the hills after a days work...

How many total Zigbee devices do you have, and how many are Zigbee repeaters? Do you have any Zigbee bulbs (generally bad repeaters) paired directly to Hubitat? Being close to the hub will usually encourage the device to route through the hub but isn't a guarantee. I assume you've also checked the battery isn't dying.

Just so you have a point of reference. I have 4 hue motion sensors. They are my favorite. 2 are about 2 years old and another 2 I got in 2018. All 4 are rock solid, although I have 4 Xbee repeaters throughout the house, but hte hue never gave me any problem even before the xbees were added.

What zigbee channel are you on?
