HE compatable surge protector and/or power strip

Does anyone know of an HE-compatible surge protector or even just a power strip. I've found a few dual outlets, but I'd like something with 6+ US 110v outlets + a few USB if possible. And power metering. I'd pay $$ for that, but I can't seem to find any such thing.

That seems like such an obvious use case rather than buying individual plugs/outlets. Perhaps they're called something else that I don't know about and I'm just searching for the wrong thing.

If you're in North America, this used to be available, and may be available again in the future:

The more I look, the more I'm convinced the Hub model is completely dead. Lots of stuff that connects to wifi and works with Alexa or Google Home, but z-wave and zigbee based devices are almost non-existent. I think Hubitat and all it's competitors are failures. Just too complicated for anyone other than the nerd typing this and the nerds reading it. So sad that the only smart home of the future will be controlled exclusively by big corporations.

You’ve been on the forum for a little over 3 hours and have researched Hubitat and all of its competitors…impressive.

It could be worse…

You definitely aren't looking very hard. There are tons of ZWave devices out there. Granted it's not for everyone but the platform in not at all dead.

My super foggy crystal ball says this could escalate very quickly.

Thank you for your feedback. We don't pretend that Hubitat is for everyone, nor that it solves every smart home use case. We pride ourselves to provide an innovative platform with personal data privacy of our users in mind, that is more reliable and responsive than competitive cloud-based solutions. I agree with you that it would be sad if smart home of the future will be dependent on big corporations' cloud. Luckily tens of thousands of users currently enjoy the local processing that Hubitat Elevation offers, and its popularity hasn't showed signs of slowing down for four years and counting.

I'm glad to be proven wrong. You're even welcome to embarrass me as a lazy noob by posting multiple links or model numbers of products I can actually buy that do any of the things I asked about. But I can only find single outlets or out-of-stock power strips, and that only after sorting through lots of "WiFi" and "No Hub Required" options that come up when searching for "hubitat", "zigbee" and "zwave" on Amazon, Google Shopping and Duck Duck Go shopping. Perhaps the WiFi/No-Hub-Required options do support zigbee or zwave too, but if so, it's not obvious reading the descriptions. There's even a company called "Zigbee" that makes WiFi (and I assume non-zigbee protocol) power strips.

You don't have to use ZigBee and ZWave devices only. Every single switch and lamp in our home is WiFi. Locally controlled and fully integrated with Hubitat. Check out TP Link. They have a power strip I believe. The community integration is rock solid!

Our home uses....

ZWave (primarily for vital things like security)
ZigBee (for more "accessory" type stuff)
WiFi (honestly only cause they were all in place before we "got elevated")
I have a few ESP boards running things as well.

There are are also some things still on the cloud. (Thermostat, Samsung appliances, Etc)

All of these are controlled exclusively through Hubitat.

It won't be. Many of us will continue to use hubs. Those that don't want to will use whatever the big corps let them use I guess?

Your dislike of hubs isn't universal. But you are of course entitled to your opinion, and use what you want!

So why are you here?

I have a Xenon Zigbee extension lead that had 4 outlets and 2 usb outlets that are all individually controlled.
The only thing it doesn't do is power monitoring which I do not need.
Got it off Amazon.
They are out there.

Looks like the topic has been marked as solved by the community, therefore it will now be closed. For more details on the hundreds of devices that our engineers have tested, please check out the following document:
