I have seen online a couple people mentioned that a driver is available for the Halo RL56 Downlight LED recessed light fixture. Is this correct ? IF so, what device would I select .
Where are you seeing that?
They’re not on the official compatibility list, but it’s possible they’ll work with one of the built-in generic zigbee bulb drivers, or that’s there’s a custom driver written by a community developer.
There was a reply from "Hubitat" on Amazon answering a question about these lights.
Would you recommend that I try a generic bulb driver to see if it works ?

Yes. Worst case, it doesn't work. Best case, it does. No harm in trying.

I used one of these at my old house with good results. It has been over a year now, so afraid that I cannot be of additional help.
Agreed, give it a try. Generic zigbee CT bulb (CT for color temperature).
